The vintage analog machinery housed within our tracking rooms—including irreplaceable 1950s vacuum tube microphones, massive analog mixing consoles, and heavily modified tape transports—cannot be easily repaired or replaced if destroyed by negligence.
By entering our facilities, you enter into a binding indemnification agreement. The client assumes absolute, total financial responsibility for any physical damage inflicted upon the studio's architecture, instrumentation, or outboard gear resulting from negligence, intoxication, or unauthorized manipulation of the hardware. No Implied Contract
By transmitting a digital file, mailing a physical cassette tape, or physically dropping off a vinyl test pressing to our London headquarters, you explicitly acknowledge that the mere act of submission does not establish a confidential, fiduciary, or contractual relationship between yourself and Arelan Records. We are under absolutely no legal obligation to listen to, evaluate, return, or provide critical feedback regarding any unsolicited material. We strongly advise you to keep the master copies of your work, as physical media sent to our offices will not be returned under any circumstances.
Protection Against Coincidence
Our internal roster and affiliated producers are constantly developing massive volumes of original music, exploring diverse sonic landscapes and structural arrangements. It is statistically inevitable that an unsolicited demo submitted to our facility may bear a coincidental structural, lyrical, or melodic resemblance to a project currently under development within our own studios. By submitting your material to Arelan Records, you permanently waive the right to pursue frivolous copyright infringement litigation or demand financial compensation based on the unfounded claim that our executives "stole" your concept.
Hardware Dependency
High-fidelity audio is entirely reliant on high-fidelity playback systems. We cannot control the quality of the machinery you utilize.
Acoustic
Subjectivity.
The creation and consumption of music is an inherently subjective, deeply psychological experience. Arelan Records guarantees that our physical artifacts are manufactured to the absolute highest structural tolerances available in the modern industrial supply chain. We guarantee that our analog mastering process utilizes world-class vintage hardware. However, we strictly, legally disclaim any liability regarding your subjective aesthetic satisfaction with the audio content contained upon the medium. If you purchase an Arelan release and find the industrial noise elements too abrasive, the analog tape hiss too prominent, or the dynamic range too challenging, that is a matter of artistic preference, not a breach of contract. We do not provide financial refunds for subjective dissatisfaction.
Furthermore, the flawless reproduction of our heavy vinyl pressings requires an appropriately calibrated playback mechanism. If you attempt to play a densely modulated Arelan record on a cheap, consumer-grade turntable lacking an adjustable counterweight or anti-skate mechanism, the heavy low-frequency information will violently force your stylus out of the groove, resulting in severe skipping and permanent physical damage to the plastic matrix. Arelan Records assumes absolutely zero liability for playback failures caused by inadequate, misaligned, or inferior consumer audio equipment. You cannot hold the architect responsible if you attempt to view a masterpiece through a cracked lens.
To the absolute maximum extent permitted by applicable United Kingdom law, Arelan Records, its executives, artists, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages—including but not limited to loss of profits, data corruption, or reputational harm—arising from your use of this digital platform, our physical services, or the consumption of our media artifacts. Our total aggregate liability for any legitimate claim shall under no circumstances exceed the total monetary value you paid to us for the specific artifact or service in dispute.
